Billy Talent

Last friday, I photographed Billy Talent when they visited Gothenburg. I have to say that I've never heard of the band before but they were very sweet and nice and I took a few portraits of them for an interview Johanna will do for Rockfoto. The interview will probably be up on the web next week.
I also photographed their gig for Aftonbladet and one of my pictures could be seen in yesterdays issue.

Don't be a jerk, Johnny

Gaaaah I can't tell you how much I would like to go to the NME Awards Tour.
The Drums, Bombay Bicycle Club and The Maccabees (!!!) at the same night!
It will drive me crazy for weeks that I'm gonna miss it.

By the way, I looked at The Drums tour calender and saw that they've sold out every show. That's pretty crazy.

Counterpoint

If you're in the Stockholm area and like good dance music you should go see Delphic at Debaser Medis tomorrow. Or tonight 'cause it's past midnight and I should go to sleep but I'm watching Flight of the conchords so I'm probably gonna be up for a while...

By the way, Delphic is signed to the French label Kitsuné and if you like alternative dance music you should really listen to their compilation albums. They've got great band signed to their label, like Two Door Cinema Club, The Teenagers, Crystal Castles, Hot Chip, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, The Whitest Boy Alive and lots more.

Our happy absent minds

So, I've been working with this video for a looooong time, and I feel pretty good about it except that when I upload it onto Vimeo the quality is pretty crap. Well maybe it's me who's crappy at Final Cut, but I don't really care. I like it and I want to share it with you. It's just my first attempt at this so... cut me some slack, ok?

Don't chase after someone who's not willing to fight for you.
You might get scared at times, and find it difficult to open yourself up to someone. You know, we all have our baggage to carry around with us. God knows I have mine. But If he really (really) likes you he won't let you go without a fight.

Weathervanes

A music tip before I go to sleep. Freelance Whales - Generator^1st floor
I really like their album Weathervanes. A little bit of banjo, a little glockenspiel, Ra Ra Riot mixed with some Sufjan Stevens... it's good.
